Sustainability Teaching Resources

Many of the academic programmes and modules taught at Newcastle include aspects of sustainability. Here is the full list of programmes that will be running in 2016/17 (available below). As programmes and modules are continually updated, for information on the most recent degree programmes, please consult the current lists of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.

Quality Assurance Agency

New QAA guidance has recently been published to support higher education institutions who teach and promote sustainability.  It is intended to complement the existing quality code. The NUS partners students with organisations to research economic, social and environmental sustainability.

This initiative has set up an accreditation mark and change programme to support students, staff and their institutions to work together to put sustainability at the heart of education.
