Ellershaw Collection



The books of Canon Henry Ellershaw (1863-1932), first professor of English at Durham University, contain translations of modern English texts into classical languages, formed by Canon Henry Ellershaw. The contents of the collection are almost entirely nineteenth- and twentieth-century translations into Latin and Greek.

Ross-Rosenzweig Collection



Collection of monographs, periodicals and facsimilies on or relating to a variety of Hebrew and Jewish subjects and studies. Included are Hebrew texts relating to the interpretation, analysis and commentary on the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Qumran community, alongside works of Hebrew literature, language, history and philosophy.
