Welcome to the Learning Resource Centre Library Guide for students and staff from Newcastle University London!
Welcome to your Learning Resource Centre (LRC) where you will have access to all the texts you need during your studies here at Newcastle University London.
Laptops, PCs and tablets are available where students can access the vast electronic resources, including eBooks and specialised databases, which include online journals, company reports, and statistical analysis.
Skilled, approachable staff are on hand to assist students, offering individual training on the resources helping you to make the most of your time here in London.
The LRC is open and staffed:
Monday-Friday: 8.00 – 9.30 pm.
Saturday: 10.00 – 6.45 pm.
We are also open on selected Sundays and Bank Holidays throughout the year.

The LRC is located on the first floor of our Middlesex Street building, providing a stimulating yet enjoyable area to study in. There is a separate designated area for post-graduate and final year undergraduate students located on the third floor.
Use the LRC Catalogue to find books and electronic books from the LRC (as well as a range of journal articles and other electronic resources).
To renew books online:
Log in using your library number:
Go to Account, select the books you want to renew, and click Renew.
To reserve books online:
Click on the title of the books, click Reserve and then click Continue:
The LRC is located amongst a hub of public libraries which students can use, these include City Business Library, Guildhall Library, Barbican Library, Artizan Street Library and the British Library.
