Special Collections and Archives are unique and rare resources held by Newcastle University's Philip Robinson Library. We hold both archives and rare books. Explore below the collections that are particularly relevant to your subject area although there are many more to find too!
Due to their rarity and their sometimes fragile condition, our Special Collections and Archives are not on the normal library shelves. The Special Collections reading room is found on Level 1, Philip Robinson Library. It is open Monday to Friday, 09:30-16:30 and the team will be able to help you explore relevant materials and offer advice about how to get the most out of our collections.
