Your main starting point for finding books on academic practice is to go to Library Search and use the 'everything except articles' search option. We also have a specific academic practice collection which is based on Level 3 of the Philip Robinson Library. You can either browse this physically or you can browse it electronically via Library Search. To do this, make sure you are in advanced search on Library Search and select 'shelfmark' from the dropdown 'Any Field' box at the left hand sde. Type 378.17 and click search.
