Questions to ask yourself when justifying the need for a Systematic Review.
- Are you confident that a systematic review in this area does not already exist?
- What do you envisage the main outcomes of your review to be?
- What (if anything) are you measuring?
- What are you aiming to prove/disprove?
- If your review identifies gaps in research how will you present this?
Do you have adequate resources?
- Are you working to a realistic timeframe?
- Do you have others on board to carry out the required double screening?
- Are you updating an existing Systematic Review do you have the search strategy?
