Covid-19: Impact and Response

While some people (approximately 1 in 8, according to mental health charity Mind) have reported some improvement in their mental health, for most people COVID-19 has negatively impacted their mental health and wellbeing. Social isolation, economic worries and health anxiety can have a ‘profound’ and ‘pervasive effect’ on global mental health now and in the future, according to a study published in the Lancet Psychiatry.
