The coronavirus pandemic has had a far-reaching impact across society. The effects of lockdown have been particularly detrimental to already vulnerable groups, such as single person households, LGBTQ+ , ethnic groups, people with disabilities and the elderly. In the long term, the crisis created by COVID -19 could further increase inequality, exclusion, discrimination and global unemployment.
