Interviews

Interviews: An interview is used typically to get qualitative information about products or services through asking a series of questions and listening and recording answers. Interviews can be unstructured or semi-structured to get users to open up and reveal their thoughts, feelings and opinions.

Pros and cons of Interviews

Pros:

  • Way of gathering detailed information and views about a product or service.

Cons:

  • May not have a very high uptake as customers need to devote time - use incentives.
  • May need to interview a lot of people to get a good cross sample.
