The Law Library has 32 pairs of headphones available for loan. They’re very helpful when there is a lot of background noise in the Law Library and are more comfortable than earplugs.

We have headphones with a 3.5mm audio jack, and some with a UCB connector with microphone.

These headphones are issued until the Library Help Desk closes on the following day.

They are held in three white crates beneath the Issue Desk.

Issue these headphones in the same way as books, using the Issue Desk PC, Alma and the 'magic rectangle'; they are RFID-tagged. There is no slip to record a return date/time to accompany these; please just ask for them to be returned before the Library Help Desk closes.

NB  Alma will issue these headphones until 1 minute before closing the following day. Please ignore this system-wide setting. if the student does not return the headphones until the following day, there will be no charge.
