Level 2 Computer Cluster

This is the main computer cluster in the Library, and the largest of the seven available in the building. All Library PCs provide access to your H: Drive and use of a wide range of standard and specialist software.  In the main cluster you can print and scan documents and there is also an IT Service Desk with a friendly member of NUIT staff available to help you with any IT issues.

If you'd prefer a more secluded setting, you'll find two small computer clusters, Hope and Tees, situated downstairs on Level 1. You'll pass them later in the tour, but the quickest way to find them is usually via staircase D or the adjacent lift. Hope and Tees can be booked for teaching sessions so remember to check the timetable on the door before using these spaces.

More PCs are available on Level 1 in the YourSpace group study area, which you'll see on this tour, and of course you can connect your laptop, tablet, or smartphone to University Wi-Fi throughout the building. Don't worry if you can't find a free PC and have forgotten your laptop, simply borrow one at the Library Help desk on Level 2.

If you like to write assignments and check important emails in the shadow of your favourite course textbook, you can also access a campus PC and printer on Level 3 and Level 4. The Bridge PC clusters are located in the same area on both floors and can be accessed directly via staircase A or staircase D and the adjacent lift. We'll see these when we head upstairs.
